By using maven we can separate loading of .properties file by based on environments like(Dev,Production,Testing)
In Maven we can use <profiles> tag to separate different environments.
<profiles>
<profile>
<id>dev</id>
<activation>
<activeByDefault>true</activeByDefault>
</activation>
<properties>
<build.profile.id>dev</build.profile.id>
</properties>
</profile>
<profile>
<id>prod</id>
<properties>
<build.profile.id>prod</build.profile.id>
</properties>
</profile>
</profiles>
<build>
<filters>
<filter>profiles/${build.profile.id}/config.properties</filter>
</filters>
<resources>
<resource>
<filtering>true</filtering>
<directory>src/main/resources</directory>
</resource>
</resources>
</build>
The goal we have to use to run this profile
